Fish is fluffy ♪

Today was another day that was mild and warm and easy to spend. It feels like the temperature is around October. Tomorrow is predicted to be even higher than 20 degrees. I might not like that.

Meanwhile, there was an event that caught my attention, so I went there. I headed to Matsuya Ginza. The ``British Fair'' is being held here from today. There was a fish and chip shop there that looked delicious, so I went there to try it for lunch.

I entered the store almost at the same time as the venue. Although it was much smaller than the UK exhibition held by the Mitsukoshi Isetan Group, there were quite a few tea manufacturers in attendance, so I bought a lot of things.

Search for the store you are looking for while looking at it. I didn't notice it at first because it was on the edge. This is what you're looking for.

A pretty good price (lol). Fish City is a popular restaurant in Northern Ireland that won first place in the restaurant category at the British Fish and Chips Competition.

There were two types, regular and large, so of course I went with the regular. I just thought it would be nice to have a half-Japanese version.

Here is what I received.

Fish and chips. A large fish and a good amount of chips. It also came with tartar sauce, lemon, and malt vinegar. There was an eat-in space at the far end of the venue, so we decided to eat there.

A close-up of the fish. Boom on the chips! The fish that was enshrined was bigger than I imagined! Is there such a big fillet? That's what I think.

Cut it with the fork you gave me. It was easy to cut without a knife.

It's up. It's been a long time since I've had fish and chips, and they look delicious♪

Now, let's eat!

When I tried eating it, both the coating and the meat were fluffy. The fish was probably cod. It was simple. I like this kind of fritter-like batter because it's not heavy. I don't drink beer, but I thoroughly enjoyed this.

Comes with tartar sauce. It contains pickles and other sour ingredients, making it rich but refreshing and easy to eat. It's perfect for the light fish♪ I also tried it with malt vinegar, but personally, I prefer tartare. I like Mac's filet o’ fish, so I prefer that kind of flavor.

Chips. There were surprisingly many. My favorite type of thick Belgian potato. Unfortunately, the salty taste was a bit weak. I wish I had brought my own black pepper.

Well, since it was a special event, it wasn't freshly fried and had been kept warm, but it was just slightly warm and not too cold. It would have been even better if it had been freshly fried.

I was so full and satisfied ♪ I want to eat fish and chips somewhere else again.
